Type Drawers with Shells

One of the first housewarming gifts my mom ever gave me was a type tray that she filled with shells from the seventies. At the time, I thought it was really nice and unique, but then I one day when I was flipping through a magazine I saw that India Hicks had one, and that type tray of mine became one of my most prized wall hangings!

I have since made a few but they sold immediately, makes me think I should probably make some more, what do you think? Would you buy one?

This is a cute one for jewelry, how different!

the one and only India Hicks with hers

and mine, which sold the minute I listed it on my Etsy Shop!

Do you have any type trays you've made, send them over, I'd love to add them to this post :)

  8. How very flattering to be mentioned in your blog. I love my tray, as it has great personal history and every shell it holds I have collected on scuba diving adventures around the Bahamas.
