A Snowy New Years Eve Morning

I took the day off and it was so perfect to wake up to the snow falling outside the window. Brian and I woke up, went to my parent's house to feed the dog (we're house-sitting) and went to our favorite diner before heading to Philly to ring in the New Year! Had to get a blog in the middle, though! I was loving my camera this morning so I decided to take some photos of my doggie, my favorite diner, and my home :)

this is the view from our little porch/balcony this morning

here is Casey, my parent's 14 yr-old beagle that we're taking care of

she has such a crush on Brian, follows him everywhere :) she likes him more than me which is kind of sad because I'm her sister!

me sans any makeup at our favorite diner. I don't think I even washed my face - excuse the poor display!

I like this diner so much because this is the view and all the tables are against the window

Here is our street - love it.

I've been meaning to show you all my wreath - I'm very proud of it! Thanks for making it, Mom :)

Our dining room

It's still very much a work in progress, adding things slowly but "shorely" hehe

the french door is my favorite part of the apartment

living room, not magazine quality by any means but it works!

living room 2

this butler's pantry is my other favorite part of the apartment

my first painting from high school - i kind of like this one

this is in Rowayton, my favorite section of town on the water, of course!

So there you have it! You met my doggie, my favorite diner, and saw my not-so-perfect, but I think lovely little apartment.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  6. Happy New Year! Wasn't that snow awesome. Your street looks soooo lovely, and so does your apartment! It was a bit down memory lane for me, having lived in Westport, CT for the first few years of my marriage..., and Rowayton is such a cute town too.

    All the best.
