POSTCARD INN, ISLAMORADA

Good Morning!! Brian and I returned home last night from our trip down to Jupiter and to the Florida Keys and boy is it hard to come back, though the perfect weather and busy week ahead with client meetings and sidewalk sales makes it much easier :)

I just loaded about 400 pictures onto my computer and realized it would be best to share them with you in separate posts highlighting our favorite spots.  {Thank you Brian for pausing those 400 times to stop and take pictures with me - you're such a good sport :)}

Our first stop on the drive down to Key West was to the Postcard Inn in Islamorada. We wanted to stop at the perfect "Keys" place for a frozen drink and some eats and after seeing lots and lots of Billboards for the place, we decided to pull in when it came upon us. It was love at first site with the yellow striped umbrellas, incredible views, and thatched roofed tiki bar. It actually reminded me a lot of the Surf Lodge in Montauk but with a more tropical vibe. It had a real surfer chic, fishing/boating feel mixed in with the laid back attitude of "have a drink and unwind, dance to a little island music and feel good".

how about that view?

There is a marina attached where you can charter boats for some of the best fishing in the country

If you are ever driving down the the Keys, The Postcard Inn is a MUST STOP.
