The Photographer's Place, Beach Art

Over this past weekend, Brian and I, along with little Jackie boy who wasn't too thrilled, visited the SoNo Arts Festival in South Norwalk, CT. It was my first time at the annual art show and I was so impressed with the hundreds of amazing artists showcasing their fine work. Booth after booth of summer art, oils, watercolors, photography, mixed media, etc... you can imagine how pleased I was walking down the rows (minus Jack pulling with all his might).

One artist who really got my attention was photographer Mark MacKinnon of The Photographers Place. MacKinnon's display included many of his large framed beach shots capturing colors and scenes so pure and soothing I felt like I was transported to the ocean, calm and refreshed, staring out at sea...

Love this series

The perfect images to put up on those walls to remind you of the beauty and tranquility of our most favorite beaches.
