Welcome Chic Coastal Living

Morning All! I am pleased to introduce today's guest blogger, Desiree from Chic Coastal Living blog:

Classic Island Interiors: Modernized Vintage

Hello Shorely Chic readers! It's a pleasure for me to be guest blogging here today since, Liz and I both share a love for chic coastal living. With spring and summer just around the corner, I thought it would be appropriate to take a look back at some of my favorite spaces...all beachy of course! Blue and white have always been on the top of my list for design and fashion during these seasons.

St. Barts Island Cottage: Pool Terrace

Tropical design can be modern, traditional, a little bohemian, or even all of these together.

Raising the Bar

Re-create the effortless beauty of the islands by mixing variations of blues and pops of prints throughout a room.

Here are some ideas in coordinating what you wear with your surroundings...

Thank you Liz for inviting me over to your coastal abode! I hope you're having a great time during NYC Fashion Week!

  6. The third picture down from top with the clam shell is here in Key West. Lovely home in the Meadows area of Old Town and all blue and white, painted floor, etc. Just thought you would want to know. And yes, it's sunny and 77 degrees today here in the Conch Republic. Love your blog - I get so many ideas for my tropical home! Kat
