THE OCEAN HOUSE AT CHRISTMAS

My all time favorite hotel, The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, all dolled up for Christmas:

It just has this charm and coziness that I've never felt at any hotel before, and to see all the Christmas decorations with the ocean in the background just melts my heart (I know, I'm a little much...).

so sweet, my mother gave us this ornament for our tree this year to remind us of the special place where we got engaged:

What is your favorite hotel for Christmas??

but there is nothing like Christmas in a seaside city such as Newport.. simply beautiful!!

  3. That is so beautiful! I think you have me convinced to stay at the Ocean House for a weekend soon! My favorite hotel (so far!) for Christmas decorations is the Chatham Bars Inn up at the Cape. We were lucky enough to spend a weekend there last December and I can't wait to go back!

  5. I know it sounds cheesy, but Disney World during Christmas is magical. I wish I could go there every year. On a different note, I am loving your blog. I LOVE everything about the beach and beach themed interior design, but always felt like since I didn't live near the ocean, it would be weird to decorate in that way. However, after reading your blog, I think I am going to have to finally hang up these framed shell drawings I bought and just go with it!
