Good Monday Morning Shorelies! I'm so excited to be kicking off Olioboard's Holiday Decor Moodboard Challenge today with my Sparkly Coastal Christmas design. One of my favorite sites on the web, Olioboard lets users create interior design moodboards very easily with a huge selection of images and the option to add your own images from your favorite shopping sites. I was thrilled when Olioboard asked me to be a part of the moodboard challenge and hope you enjoy what I came up with!
Overall I like the way the room feels refreshing and cozy, and certainly in the holiday spirit!
I invite you all to visit Vanessa from Decor Happy tomorrow at 9 AM EST for day 2 of the Olioboard Holiday Moodboard challege!
You know I had to go coastal! I wanted to keep the coastal design light and airy but had to make it feel warm and comforting at the same time, and festive to celebrate season. I scoured my favorite online stores like Wisteria and The Well Appointed House for new images and used my go-to's like the sisal rug, John Robshaw pillow, and white couches as a base!
I used lots of neutral colors and natural elements like the seashells and garland, and sparkled up the room with some fancier items like the crowns on the wall behind the couch with garland hanging down, shiny ornaments and the starlette mirrored sconces above the fireplace. I added some holiday pillows to the white slipcovered couches and chairs, and dressed the fireplace with a starfish wreath and christmas bow hanging from the leaning mirror.

ReplyDeleteHey Liz, Thanks for such a great kick start to the Holiday Decor Moodboard Challenge. I love the coastal Christmas vibe you have created and the coffee table is a great piece. I believe you can get that from Oka. They have a great line of products. I've used them quite a bit on Olioboard. P.S. Nice touch with the beach inspired stockings :)
