Colorado Living

The older I get the more and more I appreciate nature and being active outdoors. I most enjoy plopping down on a lounge on the beach, but also running along the water, playing tennis, going for after-dinner walks, and in the winter, skiing!

I love to ski for the adventure it brings to my weekends, driving all over New England to try out different mountains, popping in antique stores along the way, going fast (I love to go fast), hot chocolate and chili, and the day is done, a good apre ski! Skiing gets me outside to enjoy the snow instead of complaining about it when it gets in the way of my daily activities, although I do love a good snow day!

For a while now I've wanted to visit Colorado. Brian lived in Vail for a year in his early twenties and it is  his all time favorite place so this year we decided to give the trip to each other for our birthdays. We had a blast in Denver, Boulder, and Vail where we stayed with some of our favorite couples. We had an amazing home to stay in with an outdoor hot tub to relax in after a long day of skiing powder, life was really tough last week!

I loved how the saying on the bus read, "smile", which explain the nice people we encountered in Colorado

ah, the rockies - so beautiful!

  1. Awesome... how long were you there?
Colorado is a breathtakingly beautiful state with the most amazing people. Did it make you want to move there? If I were to ever move from Cali it would probably be to Colorado!!
    Welcome back Liz!!
