My AHA Moment of the Day

Once in a while I come across something I see on the world wide web that I absolutely NEED. It happened this morning while I was my drinking coffee and listening to Jack Johnson and Friends with the windows open and sun shining in - I guess you could say it was my *aha moment* of the day (does that sound shallow? Kind of but I'm over it).

Y'all know I love a good Etsy shop and I'm so excited to share a new favorite with you, Silver Lining Decor. I'm obsessed with her earrings which are made from vintage glass rhinestones of the prettiest  colors on gold posts. I purchased these and have received SO many compliments:

FALL AHEAD

I usually NEVER look forward to fall because I know it means the long sunny days of summer are over, but this year I'm actually VERY excited for the crisp fall days to arrive. I can't wait to go apple-picking, make pies, take Jack to the beach (after the summer dogs are allowed), wake up to the fresh cool air, make chili,  and read magazines while Brian watches football.

What I Love about Rain!

I really dislike rainy days, BUT since one is upon us today here in NYC/CT and has been all week, I'll stay positive and remind myself what is actually good about it!

You get to lay in these during the daytime hours and not feel guilty:

Need to get a pair of hunter boots, although right now I'm digging my plaid sperry's
