I had such an inspiring evening at the grand re-opening of the Wakefield Design Center in Stamford hosted in conjuction with Connecticut Cottages & Gardens last night. The space was a bit hard to find but boy was it worth it! I highly recommend this site for designers in the area and look forward to going back to write a story on the amazing treasures inside :)
Pouring over the Connecticut Cottages & Gardens magazine when I got home prompted me to head on over to their website and download some images from their online image gallery to share with you. My favorite gallery up at the time is Nantucket Blue, it's sea-inspired beauty had me at the title. The home is nautical, which I normally get a little nervous about because nautical can get very kitschy, very fast if you don't do it right, but this nautical was done to perfection!

If I lived in that house I would never leave! Love all the blues and makes me wonder why I don't have more blue in my house. So pretty!
