Mi Apartamento Esta en el Otro 'blog'

Totally not sure if my title is correct, anyone speak Spanish, Sealaura? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong! The reason I write in Spanish this morning is because I was so honored and surprised to see pictures of my apartment featured in one of my favorite blogs from Spain, Con Encanto! I was scrolling down my blog roll, and bam - my living room! Now, my apartment really is nothing special, but how cool to see it in someone else's vision! Take a peek at her blog, I'm sure if you're a culture fiend like me you will appreciate seeing a Spanish perspective on design :)

Enjoy, and I will be back later this week with a post on one of my favorite shops, Dovecote, in Westport, CT and an interview with a favorite designer of mine I met at the NY Int'l Gift Fair!

Snowy beaches here in CT!
This photo was taken at my favorite, Fairfield Beach. I lived on this beach my senior year of college at Fairfield University. Our house was called the Pier 7 and there were seven girls crammed into a very small dilapidated bungalow but we didn't really care!
I shared a child sized bunkbed with my best friend at 21 yrs. old :)

  1. I lived at the beach when I was 21, too. For me it was Ocean City, MD, with four other friends, in a place we called, "The Club". So much fun. :) (there's something just not right about seeing snow on the beach, BTW...) :)

  2. congratulations! or should i say felicidades! your español es fabuloso, maybe just a little accent on the a in esta :) Anyway, it was the first thing I say today when I saw your tweet on twitter how exciting. I am home sick today and I have exploded in my apartment but the shorely chic pics always inspire me to clean up my beachy villa. have a great day!

  3. Congratulations! It's always so nice when someone else considers your space inspirational to their own!

    Kat :)

  4. Oh that is so neat! congrats!
Love the beach in winter too!

  5. P.S. Just "read" that blog...and it was so fun to see the photos not knowing what the bloggette was saying! I can only imagine the wonderful things...

  6. Hi Liz, your Spanish is perfect. I´m so grateful you mentioned my blog in yours. Your apartment is so cute that I decided to publish some of your photos and the comments in my blog are very good about it.
Thanks for all and for your kindly words. Kisses from Spain. Ana

  7. So cool Liz to be featured on a Spanish blog!!!
    Your apartment looked amazing!!

    Me gustó mucho!
