Lately I love a good piece of black furniture...
I love the pop and starkness a black piece brings to a room. Whether lacquered to be shiny or distressed to look antique the affect is the same and so simple to achieve with a can of paint!
Look like I'm on the hunt for a thrifted piece of furniture!

You and me both! I read somewhere a few years ago, that every room should have at least one piece of black in it... So I do my best to have just that in each room.

I like! I don't have any black pieces, I've been more into a plantation look for our little nest but I bet I could work a black piece in to our decor.
