Moroccan Chic at Peacock Pavilions

As a long time "virtual friend" of Maryam and follower of her blog My Marrakesh, I can't believe it has taken me this long to share with you the major swoon-worthy gallery of her boutique hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco. Designed by Maryam and her architect husband Chris, Peacock Pavilions has the most beautiful and unique interiors I have ever seen in a hotel, honestly. Take a look at the room above, have you ever seen something so personal and collected (and chic) in a hotel? I certainly have not.

Everything in the hotel has a story to tell, according to Maryam, "a table that was once the bottom of an Indian cart, masks from West Africa, Moroccan lights designed by your hostess Maryan and hand-stenciled floors and ceilings made by artists the world over."

So, so beautiful

A henna party on the Peacock rooftop - how cool!

I thought our first trip together overseas would be Italy, but I don't know anymore...

I'm excited to meet Maryam next Tuesday at an event in Rye, New York where she will be signing copies of her new book:

you can buy it here :)

Bon Weekend everyone!
