Brian and I have been thinking a lot about our honeymoon and think we've finally decided on Anguilla and St. Bart's. We were going back and forth between Hawaii and the Caribbean, but decided on less travel time and more beach. This afternoon while Brian was watching the Masters, I was pouring over travel websites and fell in love with the modern coastal decor of the Viceroy in Anguilla:

ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend Anguilla! I would go back there in a second and would love to stay at the Viceroy! I wrote a couple posts about the island and cannot say enough about it! The beaches are amazing and there are so many great restaurants to choose from. It is relaxing yet you will always find something to do. I haven't been to St. Barts yet (mainly because I was afraid of flying over in that little puddle jumper) - although I think they have a ferry from St. Martin like Anguilla does. Can't wait to hear about which destination you decide on!

ReplyDeleteI have been to St Barts twice and LOVE it!!!! But, one thing that makes it so special is that it's not like a destination hotel. You want to get out and explore everything. It just oozes sexiness and french chic. So, I would definitely recommend it. Eden Rock, Ile de France or Le Serrano are all great. But, again....the Viceroy looks amazing.
And, good call on less time in the air. Hawaii will be there. Go for an anniversary someday!
